Main properties:
- ATLAS WODER DUO is a two-component composition, obtained by mixing in a weight proportion of 3 : 1 component A (dry mixture of grey colour, containing cement, fillers and modifying additives) and component B (white emulsion, containing synthetic resins and modifying additives)
- waterproofing with a minimum of 0.7 MPa (corresponding to a water vapour pressure of 70 m) at a layer thickness of 2.5 mm; this ensures complete protection of the substrate against water pressure
- resistance to negative water vapour pressure (when the pressure acts from the side opposite to the applied coating) - minimum 0.5 MPa
- high adhesion to the substrate - for concrete substrate min. 1.03 MPa (standard requirement is 0.5 MPa) - for solid ceramic brick substrate min. 0.7 MPa
- rapid setting - another coat can be applied after 3 hours and ceramic cladding after 12 hours
- high vapour-permeability - water vapour diffusion coefficient µ ≤ 1700, which allows application to damp substrates
- chemical resistance - the set mortar is resistant to municipal sewage, slurry as well as aggressive groundwater - XA2 class environment
- high elasticity - due to the high polymer content, the specially selected bulk stack of fine fillers and the additional structural reinforcement using micro-fibres, the mortar bridges cracks up to 1 mm wide.
- high mechanical resistance - thanks to the use of reinforcing fibres and dedicated polymer resins, the mortar has increased resistance to mechanical damage and impact impacts. The coating is resistant to temporary, direct loading by light pedestrian traffic
- frost resistance - the effect of frost does not reduce the water tightness of the coating
- protection of the surface of reinforced concrete (reinforced concrete) - the 2 mm thick coating provides effective protection of the concrete surface against carbonisation and associated corrosion of the reinforcing steel. The Sd value for carbonation is no less than 70 m
- recommended for old, damp buildings - vapour-permeability combined with water tightness makes the mortar ideal for insulating the building envelope of historic buildings
- resistant to UV radiation and ageing
- Hygienic attestation of PZH for contact with drinking water - allows, in a safe manner for health, sealing of tanks for water intended for human consumption
- low VOC emission - the material is safe for the user and does not emit substances harmful to health.
