• Nanodefense Eco is a ready-to-use product that can be used on concrete, cement plaster, cement-lime plaster and plasterboard surfaces. Nanodefense Eco is suitable for all applications that require good waterproofing, such as wet areas in the bathroom.
• Once set, Nanodefense Eco is not only waterproof, but also flexible. Thanks to these properties, rooms exposed to water and moisture such as bathrooms or kitchens and laundry rooms are adequately insulated.
• ATTENTION: Ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, clinker and stone cladding alone do not provide sufficient protection against water. Moisture that penetrates the wall or floor can cause mould to form on them and consequently damage their structure. For this reason, liquid foil is used to insulate them.
• In order to fully protect the wet area, it is advisable to additionally use Kerakoll Fugalite Eco, a non-absorbent ceramic grout.It is impervious to moisture and thus provides an additional water and moisture barrier. Even in these conditions, this grout does not lose its colour and is impervious to dirt, bacteria, mould and fungi.
• A full-value sealing coat of liquid film should consist of two layers. The first is applied over the entire surface, pointing the brush or roller in either direction. The second layer of film should always be directed perpendicular to the first (and only applied after it has dried completely).
