ATLAS MMS 60 is intended for making:
- self-supporting floor underlays laid directly on existing substrates,
- underlays with PE foil separation,
- floating underlays laid on thermal insulation, also those equipped with heating systems.
- It is an ideal material for sinking underfloor heating, electric or water, and heating installations on the surface of the subfloor.
- ATLAS MMS 60 is also designed for levelling existing subfloors, in the range of 20-60 mm.
- It raises the floor level in the whole room - e.g. when it is necessary to level two adjacent rooms.
- Recommended as a subfloor for coverings and carpets in offices, kindergartens, schools, flats, etc.
- Can be used in dry and "wet" rooms (as defined in the ITB Instruction Manual: Technical conditions for the execution and acceptance of construction works. Part C - protection and insulation, notebook 6 - waterproofing of wet rooms), such as bathrooms and kitchens in:
- residential buildings (individual and collective),
- Tertiary buildings
- office buildings
- public buildings.
When using an underlayment in "wet" rooms, a sub-tile waterproofing should be made with ATLAS WODER E quick-drying liquid foil.
- Types of finishing layers - ceramic and stone tiles, carpet and PVC coverings, wood-like panels, prefabricated floorboards, hard and soft PVC panels, cork panels, etc.
- Types of layouts possible:
- bonded to the subfloor,
- on a separating layer,
- floating,
- heating.
